The Equinox EV stands out in a highly competitive electric compact SUV segment thanks to its tech-laden package. It also offers more range than the competition while remaining affordable.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV has a streamlined interior design and plenty of tech features. The two-row cabin is spacious enough to accommodate up to five passengers. The RS trim, with its red interior accents, has a sporty appearance inside.
The LT trim features cloth-covered seats. It comes with a six-way manually adjustable driver's seat, a four-way manually adjustable front passenger seat, and a fold-flat rear seat with a 60/40 split. The RS gets an upholstery upgrade to Evotec synthetic leather, which is available as an option for the LT trim. It also has 60/40 split-bench second-row seats.
For child safety, the new Equinox EV comes with two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats and a tether anchor for the rear middle seat.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV offers 26.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat, which expands to 57.2 cubic feet when the rear seat is folded.
For passenger comfort, the LT features a single-zone automatic climate control, while the RS trim comes with a dual-zone automatic climate control. The Comfort Package adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The Convenience Package 2 adds ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, and heated rear seats.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV has an athletic look that conveys confidence and versatility. Its front end sports a prominent brow line with an LED light bar. Underneath the brow line is a massive hexagonal section that houses the recessed LED headlights.
On the RS trim, the hexagonal section gains a grill-like appearance and is finished in black with a red RS emblem. Round wheel openings and fender flares define the muscular sides of this new Chevy.
The LT trim rides on 19-inch aluminum wheels and 19-inch all-season tires for the LT trim. Get an upgrade to 21-inch black-painted aluminum wheels and 21-inch all-season tires for the RS trim.
A manual tailgate is standard on the LT trim, with a power liftgate as an option. Meanwhile, the RS features the AutoSense hands-free power liftgate.

Two electric powertrain options are available for the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV. As standard, a single electric motor drives the front wheels, delivering 220 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The available eAWD system employs two electric motors to drive all wheels. This version provides 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque.
The electric compact SUV employs an 85-kWh battery pack and single-speed transmission. One-Pedal Driving allows the driver to use only the accelerator of the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV to accelerate and slow to a full stop.
