Chevrolet Silverado’s Available Driving Views

Silverado’s driving views will let you monitor everything while you’re on the go. You don’t need to stop to check on your cargo or strain to see around your trailer when you utilize all six camera views.

• Transparent Trailer—Towing a tall trailer creates a huge blind spot in any other truck, but with the available transparent view camera, Silverado drivers get a clear view of the road behind them no matter how tall their trailer is.
• Front Camera View – Keep an eye on the road ahead and avoid obstacles with this view of the front of your truck. In a pinch, this view can also offer guidelines to help you with parking or tight maneuvers.
• Pic-In-Pic Side View – With the available Chevrolet Accessory Camera, you can combine two camera views onto one screen – the rear side view and the rear trailer view.
• Rear Trailer View – This view uses the Chevrolet Accessory Camera to show you the objects behind your trailer as well as two sets of guidelines. The first sets show your current path, and the second shows where your trailer will go baes on your steering.
• Inside Trailer View – Use the Chevrolet Accessory Camera to get a glimpse of what’s inside your trailer.
• Rear Camera Mirror – A camera-based rearview mirror that shows a wider view of the objects behind your vehicle than a traditional camera would.

Chevrolet Silverado’s Available Parking Views

Fortunately, Chevy makes it a less painful experience with four parking views that eliminate the need for one of your passengers to hop out and guide you.

• Rear Camera View – This view shows what is directly behind the truck, along with guidelines to help direct you.
• Rear Side View – This is a split-screen view that shows both sides of your truck and trailer. It's available when you’re in reverse and also shows a trailer length indicator.
• Rear Side View – (Turn Signal Activated) – This view is displayed when you activate your turn signal. It shows a full-screen view of one side of your truck and trailer with a trailer length indicator to help with lane changes and turning.
• Front Side View – This is a split-screen view that shows the position of the front tires when parking.
• Front Top-Down View – This setting shows a top-down view of the hood, bumper, and front tires. It also has guidelines if needed.
